OPPORTUNITIES TO SERVE
IN THE LIFE OF CHRIST
AT FIRST LUTHERAN CHURCH

AAL and Lutheran Brotherhood

Adult Choir

Rehearses each Wednesday evening at 6:30 to 7:30 PM. The choir understands that group singing can be fun as well as expression of devotion to God. Making a joyful noise is the only technical requirement! Contact Ellis Johnson, our Music director—or just show up on Wednesday evening.

Adult Bible Study

Meets regularly on Sunday morning during Sunday School Hour (9:15 AM) in the fellowship hall for informal discussion of a portion of the Bible or a Topical study of the life of the church. The emphasis is on the word "informal." Simply stop by. Also, Pastor Dow offers periodic evening Bible Studies as well. Contact the Pastor or the church office.

Assisting Ministers and Readers

Our congregation welcomes and encourages lay (nonOrdained) leadership. Contact Gail Pearce for reading the lessons in worship. Contact Pastor Ron for training to serve as an assistant minister.

Meeting every Tuesday evening, this group meets to discuss Bible Study materials relating to current issues in women's lives. Contact Julia Hunt.

Stephen Ministry Training
